What is Osebo?

Osebo is an original African-American style martial art created from a mixture of various fighting styles, emphasizing the animal movements indicative of the African black leopard. Osebo free-hand techniques are often used in combination with Osebo weapons training.

Osebo weapons training techniques incorporate movements similar to those of the South African Zulu warriors.

We believe Osebo is a precious gift from our Almighty Jehovah God. We want to share with the world a small part of the beautiful culture from the people of African descent. As such, we are intentional about using Osebo for good, and not evil.

“Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard its spots?

Then may you also do good who are accustomed to do evil.”

~ Jeremiah 13:23 (NKJV)

Why Osebo?Osebo logo

Osebo was created to pay homage to the South African Zulu warriors and other African fighting arts.

Osebo is primarily focused on making faith-based fighters through self-defense, discipleship, and evangelism.

Osebo is a ministry outreach tool used to bring glory to God, is founded on the Word of God, and is guided and empowered by the Holy Spirit of God.

Osebo was designed to give Christians and non-Christians alike a martial art style that is free from the influence of pagan worldviews.
